are all control buttons illuminated?

We just got our FRS last week, and while driving it at night I noticed that the three control buttons used to control the display settings like temp/odometer/KPH-MPH are not illuminated. Seems odd because everything else is. Would someone mind checking on their car to see if these are or aren't illuminated?

Thanks,

Not in mine as well... Also was a little surprised to see the seat warmers aren't lit up either. Only has a light when they are on so I assume they suspect that the driver would know where to find em!

Funny you bring this up. In my BRZ Limited there are quite a few buttons that aren't illuminated that I just started getting bothered by yesterday. From memory: None of the display buttons, the seat warmers, trunk unlock or side mirror adjuster buttons. Kind of annoying, but oh well. I'll just learn by touch.

I never noticed they weren't illuminated and did not bother me at all.. until I read this of course. Now realizing that they aren't is kind of annoying and I will think of it.

Damn you!!

It is weird but I can't even see them unless I turn my head in an uncomfortable position. That's probably why they didn't?

notice that the button for folding the side mirrors has no backlight/not illumniated. is it the standard? thanks.

I bless the designers for all the unilluminated button every time I drive at night. The controls that you may need while driving are lit up and all the rest are not. Drove a Focus rental where every thing was lit up and it annoyed the crap out of me. Do you really need odometer and mirror buttons lit? You shouldn't be messing with them while driving anyway (right @Guff ) and once you know the car better does it really take a light to find them when sitting still?
