We have just received one of the first Tamiya #51494 Toyota 86 (aka Scion FRS) bodies in the United States and we want your help deciding the livery!

Yes. 1/10 scale electric.

Yes. The bodies are just a thin clear plastic. You paint them from the inside. That way if you bump into someone while racing, it does not damage the paint. :thumbsup:

What chassis will this be for?

@boucher we will use it on TA06 and/or TT01.

Nice shells. I used to drift a tt01 but it's been sitting on the shelf for a while now.

No matter, this is pretty cool, I think you'll be hearing from me later on to grab a FRS RC in future. :thumbsup:

Are you just doin the paint or gonna doing other custom exterior mods? Like wide body & etc?

That would take a ton of work, and random plastic pieces to shape it :P

^^You can buy dashboards/driver figures etc to put in rc cars. They even have overfenders/flares, bumpers, intercoolers to dress up an rc car. Nothing is impossible with a bit of imagination and work.

Right. And it would be far too delicate to actually race.

Looks cool in photos but isn't good when racing. Less is more.
