Azenis 615K - life and rain performance?

I know some of you have this tire. Need your opinions as a daily driver set - with room for the occasional Auto X.

Any experiences in the rain? Average tire life?

The fk452 or the ze 612 is a better daily set. If you really want to run the 615 buy an extra set of stock wheels or if you changed the wheels stick them on your stock set to use for auto x.

615k is not suited for rain. the 452/453 is better for rainy conditions.

I've run the 615's and the Star Specs as a summer street/occasional auto-x tire. They will last one season with those requirements, and I'll say that the Dunlop does noticeably better in the rain.

This was on a light, 1990 Civic, and I usually re-used the rears for two seasons. I would imagine the same would be true that you could use the fronts for two summers, but you would need new rears each summer.

615's are good, but not good in wet, and their life is pretty miserable as well, but then again most tires in the same category will be too - RE-11's and AD08's, and a few others I'm sure that I'm just forgetting.

For my $$, I go with AD08's, I have experience with the Azenis, and the AD08, on and off the track, and I'd put my $ on the Yoko's instead.

I like the azenis sport, then the 615 came out and it sucked imho. The 615k is supposed to be better, but I'm done wasting money on the falkens.

I prefer BFG for bang for buck, and so far my michelin pilots have been great. I hear nothing but good things about the dunlops though.

Depends on where you live so the temps and climate you need to deal with. Where I live it gets into the teens in the winter and I still find Star Specs as decent DD tires since we don't really ever get snow. I had the RS3s and did not like them as DD tires though others do, due to noise and them needing considerably more heat to work well and are terrible in cold/wet conditions as well as just wet.
