Afternoon in LA
 

Hey I am flying into LA tomorrow to check out a venue for an event I am planning. I will have a rental car, but is there anything worth doing for a few hours around there? Car museums or anything near there? I have been to LA plenty of times before, but never with a short window of time to try and figure out what to do. I am thinking I will have 11-3pm or so wide open tomorrow.

11-3pm isn't really a wide window to do lots in LA. Things in LA are spread wide and when you factor in traffic that window diminishes. You could probably squeeze the Peterson Automotive Museum located in the Miracle Mile area if you are going to be within a half hour from there. http://www.petersen.org/

I've never really done anything during the day in L.A. that wasn't work related, but I usually try to make sure I get tickets to a game or show before I go any city for business trips. That's my 2 cents.

Yeah that is a very short time to visit any where especial with traffic. Use yelp to find a closest awesome food. LA is also known for a lot food foods and diversity
