I went to Irvine Subaru today to help my friend buy a Forester and found out that Rich no longer works there.

I also saw two Limited, one with auto the other stick, parked out front with 5k markups.

So who's gonna honor the unfulfilled orders now?

Well, that sucks for them, Rich was nice and easy to deal with. I'm guessing that Desiree is following up on those since she sent me a followup email several days back. Whether she will be honoring the group buy stuff from Rich...*shrug*

I heard from Rich that she wasn't happy every time one of us came in and picked one up at MSRP. Honestly, she should be happy because while they didn't make as much on each one (thanks to the ridiculous markups), they had a lot of people order the car from them because of the group buy and they still made money.

Anyways, I hope those of you who haven't gotten their car yet still get the group buy price honored.

Who was the last person to get their car? Which place in line has most recently been filled ?

That's sad news. I drove 3.5 hours down to Irvine Subaru because of Rich. You can bet I would have preordered or bought my BRZ from a closer dealer if it weren't for him.

I picked mine up on July 27. Don't know my place in Rich's line but I would guess that I was last in line for WRB limited MT.

I was supposedly the second to the last in Rich's group and picked mine up on 7/25. I really think it's come down to your color that factors the most in when you get it.

Wonder if he can pull another one off for the 2014 model... *cough* MFDeuce and *cough* 86D *Cough*. It'll be hard for me since... well.. my part kinda got gimped.
