Front Bumper Lip

Well I was a victim of misjudging how close I was to a parking block and the inevitable happened underneath my bumper. -_- . Its not too bad (could have been a whole lot worse) but it has raised my eyebrow to protecting it. I purchased one of these and was wondering if anyone has it installed on their ride car and how it looks. It doesn't seem too bad and has a good purpose.

Its just garage door stripping that you could have bought from home depot. Likely could have purchased a decent sized roll for that price.

If you put that on your car and went back to the exact same spot where you bottomed out you would bottom out again. What ever you would have hit before you'll still hit. How does it protect anything?

That is almost verbatim what the engineers who designed the Tacoma Narrows bridge are reported to have said to the mayor when he wanted to rebuild the bridge without revisiting the design :happy0180:
