What can I use to make sure strut bar doesn't scratch paint?
I want to install my TRD Door Stabilizer and later a strut bar but I don't want to scratch the paint from the metal to metal contact. Is there any recommendations of a tape or adhesive to make sure the paint will be fine if I uninstall the parts later?

I doubt either will. I didn't feel like either of these scratched my paint when I installed them.
Maybe you can use a rubber or vinyl gasket underneath? |
What exactly do these do?

Door Stabilizer and Strut Bar are both supposed to stiffen the chassis and reduce flex felt in cornering.

Clearbra material?

Go to your local autoparts store like napa or o'reillys and get some bulk gasket material. Trace your pattern and then cut it out using scissors or a hobby knife.

I ended up getting some rubbert gasket material. It was a tad bit too thick but it worked out very nice. I might have to get a thinner one for the door stabilizer since I can hear the sliders moving then I open the door.
