Bluetooth

How is it? Does it work well with audio streaming? Work good with phone calls? Does the caller hear alot of road noise?

Tried a search, came up empty. Unless i missed it.

I hear the callers voice so clearly I usually have to turn down the volume..

I use it to stream music off my phone almost every time I go home from work. Works great! Calls great! Pioneer is the bomb!

No complaints, everything works great.

Good to hear. Thanks.

Same here. quality is amazing.

only thing though, i sometimes have trouble with my contact list. sometimes it transfers and works fine, other times the radio won't even let me press on the "contact" button... i have a galaxy S3 phone. used to have a BB Curve and same thing then.
anybody have the same sort of issue with cellphone contacts??

I stream music everyday and the sound is amazing.

So for those streaming music through Bluetooth, is there a difference in quality if you plug it in via USB?

Sound quality seems about the same to me. Only thing is that you control music via the phone when connected by bluetooth whereas it is controlled by the HU when connected by USB.

The reason why you can't access certain functions (like pair a new device, address book, etc...), is because it's disabled when you're moving. When you are at a complete stop, all functionality will be available. Once you start moving again, it's gone.

With that said, I'd love to find a bypass...like the other Pioneer aftermarket units are capable of. Best thing to do now, is assign your most common contacts to your speed dial buttons. Those are accessible when in motion.

there is a way to bypass it, you'll need to pull the HU out and ground the wire that connects to the ebrake that disables those functions.

Yeah, I have no problems with it. Everything works as advertised and I am pretty happy with it.

Great system. Calls are clear, and music etc plays well. The phone quality is much better then the high end arsenal deck i had in my old car.
