Stock Wheel. Essex Endurance. Will fit with a 10mm spacer. Roughtly 5mm clearance to the balacing weights.

This wheel will fit with plenty of clearance to spare.

We are going to publish a comprehensive wheel fitment list soon, but in the meantime, here is our Stage IV front and Stage I/II rears with Enkei RPF1 17x8" +45offset.

Our Stage I's and Stage III's fit OEM wheels. Stage II and IV have wide calipers for thick race pads and require more caliper clearance.

yes

It would be nice to see someone making fitment template for stock brakes. I'm planning to find some 16"-15" for more offroad-ish driving, templates of stock brakes could have been much easier way to find if smallest wheels clear or not prior purchase.

Thanx but now I gotta add spacers. The wheel does not flush with the fenders with the cambers I'm running.

Well that is another problem and that is more due to the offset of the wheels than the BBK

Essex/AP Sprint Front

Looks like it will fit! Clearance is about 2 or 3mm to the spokes and a good 6-10mm to the wheel weights (sorry, I didn't measure).*

*The template's hub looks like it was designed for a slightly larger bore, so this may be off by a millimeter or two. The right side bent a little more than the left, so the true measurement should shift outward, giving a little more room to the spokes and a little less to the wheel weights. If anybody can confirm this, it would be appreciated.

Essex/AP Endurance Front

Will not fit. The barrel is too narrow.

(Both pictures feature the Sprint template.)

I've got front and rear Stoptechs BBK. Front is 328x28mm and rears are 345x28mm. I'm sure the fronts with 328x28mm will fit over a 17" wheel diameter without any rubbing from the callipers to the inner wheel well of the rims. I am just worried about the rears with 345x28mm. Has anyone tried the rears over a 17" wheel? Thanks in advance!

Race 05-10-2016 11:53 AM

I can confirm that the StopTech 328x28 ST40 front brakes clears the following two rims without spacer.

O.Z. Leggera HLT 17x7.5 ET35
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...ight+Race+Grey

Enkei Fujin 17x7.5 ET40
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...=Black+Painted

I didn't take pictures but there are adequate rim clearance and lots of spoke clearance for both wheels.

Anyone know the minimum spacer size needed for the Stoptech Front 328x28 ST40M kit with OEM wheels ?

I test fitted the those on my Stoptech 355 BBK Front and it clears with a few mm of clearance, would definitely have to be careful where you place the wheel weights.

I'm not sure if I missed it or not, I'm still getting used to using the forums on my iPhone but has anyone confirmed fitment of the STI Brembo BBK with enkei rpf1's 18"x9.5" +38? Thank you

Rpf1 17x9 +45 do fit the AP Sprint kit with 10mm spacers. On extended lugs of course.

AP Racing 4-Pot Factory BBK clears both the 18x9+40 FF15 (HRE), and the 17x9+40 6UL (949 Racing) with room to spare. It also clears the stock wheels, as designed.

Does the CSG Brembo GT kit have any confirmed fitment for 17" wheels? Specifically wondering about TC105Ns.

The CSG Brembo GT kit is similar in dimentions to the BBK on the Performance Pack which has confirmed fitment on 17x9 TC105N.

Stop Tech 328 BBK with ST40 Calipers

Clears Rays 57DR 17X9 +38 by a huge margin. Like almost 3/4 of an inch.

Clears stock wheels with 10mm Spacer by about 3/16 at the closest point.

Also, using the 50mm Nismo studs allows you to use stock lugs on the stock wheels with spacer. Without spacer with the 57DR's my PMU Super 7's will tighten all the way down and hold the hat in place.

Hi all,

There is any template about the Brembo STI WRX 2008+ with 326 30 discs?

I would like to know if clears these alloys:

Enkei RPF1 17x8 +45
Rays 57DR 18x8.5 +38

churchx 02-28-2018 11:16 AM

There are very few that retrofit non native designed brakes on twins. I'd guess you might be more successful in wrx/sti related forums regarding clearance of specific wheels.

Looking at picking up some RS05RR's in 18x9.5 +43.
Anyone know if that would clear the performance package Brembo's?

Hi

I wanted to keep the stock offset and similar width (don't ask me why, it seemed like a good idea at the time). My Enkei RPF1 17x7.5 +48mm arrived today and I can confirm the following:

Stock: Fits with lots of space
Essex Sprint: Fits easily with the closest part to the spoke being 5mm
Essex Endurance: Tight, but fits. The closest part to the spoke being 2mm
AP Racing Formula Front: Good clearance to spokes but only 3mm to the outside rim. A wheel weight would NOT clear.
AP Racing Formula Rear: Good clearance to spokes but only 3mm to the outside rim. A wheel weight would NOT clear.
Wilwood BBK Front: Does not fit. No way, no how.
Wilwood BBK Rear: Good clearance to spokes but only 4mm to the outside rim. A wheel weight would NOT clear.

Outside of the RFP1 what Enkei rims can fit a BBK as a 17 inch diameter and 8 to 9 inch width?

In my search for wheels for my 2018 BRZ with Performance Package, I ended up measuring my car and creating a clearance template. My initial measurements weren't super accurate; I used a combination square and dial calipers in some crazy orientations in a 20 degee parking garage. However, I printed the template out a few times to double-check on the car and made modifications as needed. I would say it's accurate to about a millimeter. I figured I would post the thing if it might help anyone out, just remember it was created by some idiot on the internet. As with any clearance template, print full scale and verify a few of the dimensions before cutting out. Make sure there's at least 3mm clearance between the template and the wheel.

Now the tricky part is checking wheels that I don't have yet. Any chance someone has TSW Nurburgrings in 17x8 +35 or +45 that they would be willing to check?

Motegi Tracklite mr131

Does anyone with motegi traklite mr131 17x7 have checked for the AP sprint kit?

Simok 04-20-2019 07:51 PM

Am I wrong In assuming that if a bbk clears the oem wheels it will likely clear most after market wheels?

churchx 04-21-2019 03:32 AM

Wrong. BBK clearance depends a lot from spoke shape design. Same with not safe to assume if eg. BBK clears some 17", then all 18" should clear.
So just find wheels you like design of, and then check clearance. Find threads here or on BBK vendor product description page if wheels in size you want are among ones that clear, also you can get/download brake clearance templates from most of BBK vendors. Glue on carton, cut template out, check in wheel shop clearance on the wheel. Or send link to template to some online wheel shop and ask for them to check clearance.

17 in wheels that will fit stoptech st22 rear bbk

Does anyone know if there are any 17 in wheels that will clear stoptech st22 rear brakes? I only need them to fit the rear since I’m drag racing and need to run drag radials .

Only wheel that might is te37 17x9.5. I had test fit on the front which I have the 355 kit and there was 1-2mm clearance. But wasn’t comfortable running them. Didn’t test the rear but since it’s 345 guessing probably would fit.
