Had a few minutes to spare at work so I grabbed a bunch of PDF BBK templates from various manufacturers and overlaid them on top of one another, to scale:

http://i.imgur.com/Bj6o1R7.jpg

Then cleaned it up and made this:

http://i.imgur.com/3Lxixgh.jpg

It's for front callipers only but might help give folks some idea of the relative sizes of certain kits out there.

In theory you should be able to print out the 'cleaned' version of the PDF below, print to scale and quickly measure up a bunch of different callipers on your own but I'm making no claim of 100% fidelity here - these are for indicative purposes only.

Cleaned version of the PDF file can be downloaded here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...0-%20clean.pdf

Raw version is here (you can open and edit in Illustrator etc.)
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...comparison.pdf

As for me, I have the Alcon 343mm kit so apparently I have the widest possible callipers out there (but they're damn fine brakes).
:bonk:

Put my Sprint kit on and the stock wheels fit with 10mm spacers.

Thanks to @CSG Mike, @JRitt, and @ImperiousRex for all the advice and help!

I used ARP extended studs, similar to most of the guys I mentioned.

Does anyone know if rpf1 18x8 will fit a wildwood 6 pot kit w/ the 14" rotor? Not the 12.88" kit.

How much clearance do you have with 10mm spacers? Please share links to the studs and lug nuts you bought. Thanks

I do not have a set of calipers at my disposal, but I'm not for sure that you will clear with a 5mm spacer.

OK, I'll plan to go with a 10mm spacer, not that big of a difference. Please also share a link to the lugnuts you bought - thx!

Got em from @CSG Mike. The CSG Chromoly open ended lugs.

Since there are no real records of Sprint kit + spacer, here's a pic of mine. Still don't have a set of calipers, but you can see it should be plenty of clearance.

I have the Baer big brake kit on order. 6 piston 14” front with two piece race style rotors, 4 piston 13” rear with two piece race style rotors.
This is an amazing FRS specific kit, should look great with the Vossens I have on already.
Attachment 67560
I just have no idea how it will all fit together lol.

What makes it amazing? Nothing against the quality of the kit but a kit that large is, IMO, too much brake even on a boosted dedicated track FRS/BRZ. Nothing against people running it but you could get by with a whole lot less and get more performance out of it (lighter weight, etc).

Jerf 02-18-2014 10:57 PM

I have always been a fan of Baer, I know it's overkill, but why not? Not sure how much preformance you can get out of brake kits, other than stopping, but maybe I am missing something.

Anyone know exactly which ones will fit under a Enkei 17x9 +35, i know the AP will just clear, wondering if the wilwood 328 will as well?

I printed out an Essex Sprint template to test against my Kosei K4R 17x7s, and they are close:
Attachment 77780
I know it's hard to get a good sense of scale from my crappy picture, but there is about 2 mm of space between the spoke and my toothpick reenforced paper (TPRP) template. How are y'all making your templates sturdy?

Fizz 05-09-2014 12:09 AM

I'd like to add:

For those wanting to do an STi Brembo conversion, the Rota Titan 17x8 +42 does NOT clear! You will need a 5mm spacer, and even then it just clears by 1mm. Too close for comfort, so I'd recommend at least a 6mm spacer.

Fizz 05-09-2014 12:30 AM

By the way....I found this brembo template....can someone tell me where the hub center line is supposed to be?

BRZZZZZZZZZZ 05-12-2014 11:12 AM

Anyone know of any fixed caliper kits that will fit under a 16X7 +46 TE37? Wasn't overly happy with my brake performance even with stock power on the track yesterday.

Khorne 05-16-2014 07:00 AM

So got the fitment template for the buddyclub BBK.
Buddyclub Template

Not sure which 4Pot 330x28 mil kit it is though, one as a 41 offset and the other has a 50.
Guess ill test both.

You need to contact the kit suppliers directly and ask for a caliper fitting template that you can print and physically apply to the inner of your wheel to check for clearance.

Khorne 05-30-2014 06:13 AM

So a little late but Buddyclub 330mm does not fit Enkei RPF1 17x9 +35.
So just dropped a cool 3K (aussie funny money) to get a Essex sprint kit.

STI brembo's and Rota Rt5's (18x8.5, ET 38)

ScottDRFT 10-10-2014 12:56 PM

Does anyone have a set of CE28RT 17x9 +38s and if so, would a big brake kit fit? Thanks!

Sleepless 10-17-2014 07:41 PM

Stoptech 328mm fits 17x8 +36 Kosei K4R and 17x8 +45 Enkei RPF1

Which means the AP Sprint fits both as well.

x2, looking for 16x7 options myself

pleong 10-18-2014 12:09 AM

Just put on sti brembos

They DO NOT clear in the FRONT without a spacer

pleong 11-06-2014 09:28 AM

Has anyone fit the Stoptech 355F and 345R with 18x9.5 +38 Enkei RPF1s?

I can confirm this, I have 2012 STI Brembo brakes and run a 8mm spacer in the front.

pleong 11-10-2014 04:37 PM

Has anyone tried the 355 stoptechs with 18x9.5 +38 Enkei RPF1s?? I used the template and it seems to clear EXCEPT for the height.... but stoptech says minimum 18" wheels...

Alphard 11-14-2014 04:48 AM

Tried ultra's multi-template (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...9&postcount=81) and seperate templates for essex sprint and essex endurance on 18x7.5 +48 ZE40s.

Essex sprint is a very tight fit, only around 1mm clearance from the spokes. I would use a spacer if i opted for this kit.

Essex endurance has plenty of clearance, around 7mm clearance from spokes and plenty of clearance from rim.

Stoptech 328mm is another good fit, similar to essex endurance.

Alcon 365, 334 and stoptech 355 don't fit. Good clearance from rim, but calipers are too big and don't clear the spokes. All of these would fit with a spacer.

pleong 11-14-2014 04:26 PM

has anyone tried the Gram Light 57DRs 18x9.5 +38 with StopTechs 355s in the front and 345s in the rear?

Yamaha_R6 12-18-2014 07:06 PM

Would any of you be able to confirm if the Ksport Front BBK (12" rotor, 6-pot) would fit with Rota Grids (18x9.5, +38)? Thanks in advance.

liquidsky44 03-15-2015 03:08 PM

Will the AP Racing Sprint kit fit the Volk Racing Ce28RT 18X9 +43 offset?

Boosted 04-05-2015 03:27 PM

Rota Titans 17x8 45 fit STI Brembos, with a 5mm spacer.
