looking to puchase FRS with 5Axis included
 

Are there any dealers in SoCal that are selling a SCION FRS with the 5Axis Aero kit included? If so Where???!!!

What included options have you all seen from the dealer? I've been reading the forums and read some dealers are adding extra stuff to bump the price up, but never mentions what those add-ons are. I'm in the process of ordering a Raven color one, but when I asked about preinstalling the 5Axis aero kit, they declined to order it nor install it for extra. You'd figure they'd jump on it to get a bigger sale.

Not all dealers are authorized 5:AD resellers/installers. If you go onto the 5:AD website should find a dealer near you that either can sell it installed or will install it after purchase.

I know that DCH Torrance had the 2tone Black and Grey with preinstalled kit for sale about a month ago.

EDIT: I just requested several SCION dealers about more info regarding ordering the FRS with the 5Axis Aero kit preinstalled. Will keep you all posted.

The 5-Axis website has the list of approved dealers. They are the only ones who can get the 5-Axis kit. If you ask other dealers, like the one I bought my FR-S from, they will tell you they can't order the kit even if you want it.

I also saw dealers selling the kit installed, but for about $4000. The kit costs $2200 on the 5-Axis website. So basically, the dealer is getting $1800 for labor plus markup. It seems like wayyyyy to high of a price for installing a kit that should take no more than 2 hours.

The cheapest way to go is to order the kit through a dealership for $2200 and install it yourself. The second cheapest way is to order it and install it at another shop. I would recommend buying an FR-S at a dealership that sells the 5-Axis kit, but not buy it installed. That way you can finance the $2200 right into your purchase, but not get bent over on the install labor!
