Correction: I actually got the Michelin Pilot Super Sports 225/45RZ17XL.

I did a write up here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=53873&page=2

But that was part 1. I should do part 2 now. So to answer your question... They are amazing! It's actually not as easy anymore to break that rear end loose anymore. I have much better traction on dry and wet pavement. SW Humphrey and Patton are so much safer and fun to drive now :-) I feel as grounded as I used to be on my '99 Carrera. But also keep in mind that I also have the Super Sport Springs and that helps a lot also.

Raven Scion Frs OEM Hood For Sale

1 Attachment(s)
Hello all,

I will be installing a carbon fiber hood in the next few days and seeing if anyone here needs an OEM hood. The hood is currently plastdipped and only has one visible rock chip underneath that. Right now just gauging interest.

If anyone is interested I am located on the east side, and can hash out a pick up time after I install the new hood. Feel free to message me offers.

Thanks.

So I'll be mounting the PSS's on the 10 Series and selling the upgraded Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A's, the newest, highest performance tire they sell, in 225/45-17 size with 3,400 miles on them.

I got a four-wheel alignment to factory spec at Ron Tonkin Scion that has an in-house rack soon after installating the RE-11A's. Wear is even across the tread and I X-rotated them (they're asymmetric and non-directional so may be rotated however you like). No flats or damage ever.

A set of four including shipping to Portland from Tirerack costs $704 although I got them from America's Tire Co. locally since they price matched. Installation, M&B, TPMS kits were extra, the $704 was net price.

I'm going to run an ad for them on Craigslist for $500 when I pull the car out of storage in early March. It's been stored since last October so the tires look nearly new and were treated with Griot's rubber conditioner a couple of times while in storage.

For local members only I'm offering a discounted price of $440 and if it helps, a three-payment plan of $150/month with the first payment on delivery.

Here's the Tirerack page, check out the specs and reviews. They have impressive dry drip, are quiet and comfy and have a 200 treadwear rating. The stock 7" wheel is within recommended width as you'll see in the specs.

This is very very tempting as I love those tires. I have them currently as summer tires and grip better than anything short of a track tire. Mine are almost worn. I should know next week how much money I have left from the intercooler install and tune.

Sorry, I won't be in Seattle again until mid-April (actually LeMay Museum in Tacoma). If they're still available then I'll let you know.

Yeah, the first pic is generic c/p from the Tirerack site that looks more like their widest sized 255/40-17. They're closer to this other pic from their site:

If only they were 18s. I'd scoop these right up.

Hmm, I need a hood to hack up for venting during the summer. What is the base color?

anyone willing to trade for a Invidia N1 cat back portion, to the Q300? Only swap will be post mid pipe since both design uses the identical mid pipe. We will be only swapping the axle back portion.

so the trade is my N1 to your Q300. I have the burnt tips but I don't care if your tips burnt or not. Let me know!

SOLD.. or TRADED
