A laser car was is just a brand name , soap and high psi water .
So I would say big deal. Your car will not get as clean as a touch car wash.
But a touch car was is bad for your paint.

If your car is Opti-Coated/Opti-Guarded, the touchless washes will be a lot more effective than they would be without the coating....

Detailing after using touchless carwash is a massive pain they use some sort of sealer that seals in the dirt. Swirl marks are much easier to polish out. I only used touchless car wash on my Nissan from new and when I went to trade it in I figured I'd polish the crap out of it. It took washing the car down with dish soap, then med cut 3x to fine cut, to maquires gold x3 to get everything back mint.

If you were to compare a touchless car wash to a swirl-o-matic brush car wash the edge goes to the touchless. Now compare the touchless to a good hand wash using proper wash techniques , the hand wash wind hands down. On average a touchless uses some harsh chemicals to get the job done. I guess it depends on how OCD you are when it comes to the investment thats sitting in your driveway.

I do have optiguard on it

they all depend on where you go and how frequent they're maintained. Closest one to my house did a decent job on the basic wash but when I spent more on the "super wash" it left a shit load of soap residue and my car looked like shit.
