Jon Sibal does a Subaru BRZ

With Toyota/Scion releasing 3 different FT-86 concepts, I’m still baffled about how Subaru has still yet to give us a glimpse on how their BRZ model will look like. The only BRZ concept they brought out to the auto shows is the translucent BRZ Prologue Boxer Sports car Architecture.

Then they followed it up with the BRZ Prologue Boxer Sports car Architecture II but still not enough details for us to know how the car would look like aesthetically.
So I thought I had a go at it by using the above image as a base for a BRZ speculative rendering.

Without much info, this rendering is obviously just an “educated” guess basing the design language from Subaru’s existing concept cars. Reports says that they will finally unveiled the sheet metal concept in the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. Can’t wait!

I thought the sheet metal concept @ the upcoming LA Auto Show has nothing to do with the production version? Also aren't the mirrors going to be mounted on the door in the production version?

Nice renderings!

my first thoughts immediately after seeing the final version were, "Good lord those lights and grille have Ford Taurus written all over it".

I mean no disrespect.

Its amazing how much better a car looks without a huge wheel gap like the spy car

This looks awesome... more classy than the Toyota version in my opinion

Not sure if that looks like a mini maserati though... Maybe the final brz will look even better than this composite :) still awesome though

seeing this....then seeing the spy pics...make me sad to this the car COULD HAVE turned out like this.

MF_DEUCE 10-11-2011 11:54 PM

Nice rendering! :)

But to me this feels more of a Scion type car and hopefully the BRZ is more aggressive looking. But Good work!

No disrespect to your work though.
