SF Bay Area Parking Lots or Airstrips?

Anyone have some broad flat pavement where one can setup a few cones and be legal about it? Don't mind signing waivers or kicking a few 20s over

You could just come to an AutoX event.

No one who is smart is going to let you do this without the proper insurance. But you might find some really stupid person to let you.

Also, what are you trying to accomplish?

I thought about doing that. But there's usually a number of Ccsf cops that roll through every once in awhile. Not worth the risk Imo. What time were you there?

Trying to squeeze some practice time tightening lines and balancing the car on throttle. Throw a few cones down, don't spin..

Ummm... You can do this at AutoX SAFELY! There are plenty of local AutoX events.

What events? Searched "autox event california" and no hits. SCCA SF events calendar is blank.

Would like to sign up for a few for sure.

Check out golden gate lotus club. They do lots of events that seem smaller (anyone welcome, members get priority reg, but anyone can buy a membership). Though they're season may be over/winding down

Also check out BMWCCA golden gate chapter (similar deal about anyone/anycars) and http://www.norcalufo.org/main/

BMWCCA also runs car control clinics where they set up a skid pad precisely for the purpose of practicing throttle steering.

Yeah. I was trying to remember nor cal ufo. They seem to have a ton of events as well. Hopefully next year I'll finally. Make it out to one.
