Anyone got the TSB done?

Did anyone get their car serviced for the TSB in our area? I wanted to know what your experience was and how long it took them. I made an online appointment for tomorrow @11 for the first oil change and also the TSB. I'm going to call the dealership (Stholman Subaru in Tysons) and confirm they can perform the service.

Let me know your experience if you've gotten it done or plan on it...

I left darcars toyota in silver spring a few hours ago. I got my leaky taillight replaced and told my service guy about the chirp. After getting the car to make the chirping noise again and showing the service guy and the mechanic the tsb on my iphone they ordered a new fuel pump. I also pulled it up on the service guys phone so now he knows he can see any tsb for the car on our forums lol. Part should be here within a week.

I was going to wait til Spring, once the dealerships get a few more under their belt and I don't have to be the guinea pig (poor previous experience with recall/TSB work).

Good point...I will call up my dealership and see if they have repaired any with this TSB.

UPDATE: So originally I said that I have a service appointment tomorrow for my first oil change and possibly get the TSB taken care of....

So tonight both the SL and CEL came on...luckily the car seems to be running fine but afraid of any damage that may occur to the engine. Not the happiest person with issues like this but I will keep you guys posted on what I find out tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!

I'm going in at 9AM tomorrow for my TSB fix. I'll post the outcome here tomorrow night.

Had a really bad experience with the Impreza cold-state fuel pipe recall. What should have been a drop-it-off-in-the-morning-get-it-back-later-that-night turned into a 3 or 4 day escapade with a loaner.

Two guys in AZ have had theirs fixed. Party took a couple days and about three hours for the repair. Both are reporting it is quiet now. I heard one and was pretty damn impressed. My parts are in. Getting mine done Friday.

Tell me about it. I got the new ECU last week and it took them 4 days to get it in and working :mad0259:

Mine's done. No more crickets!!! 4 hours at the dealer total.

Oh yeah, also got the Invidia N1 installed at the same time, sounds great!
