Sun visor warning labels

Am I the only one hating those? I think it spoils the black interior of the car.

I can confirm that they are NOT removable, so don't even try. I'm waiting for a new visor from Japan. DOH!!! :sigh:

JouMaSeHoes 10-12-2012 05:12 AM

lol, hate them too.

Learn from my mistake and get a sticker made up to cover it.

Funny enough, the visor is cheaper than a Corolla's. :)

"Funny enough, the visor is cheaper than a Corolla's"

That's brilliant, hopefully things stay that way (espescially for the 100k service when they remove the engine to change the spark plugs!!)

My brother's S2000 services cost the same as a Civic's, so there is precedent!

Yeah, I really do hope so.

Some of the parts are very expensive though - ONE front High spec headlight=R9000 and a set of front brake pads=R1600.

The brake pads are the same as the WRX STi though so there should be better and cheaper aftermarket ones available from Powerbrake.

sav 10-12-2012 06:39 AM

No stickers! That's from the FR-S if I'm not mistaken which is surprising since the USA is usually hectic on safety and warning.

I removed the sticker from the passenger side, so I can confirm that they are removable.
The problem is that it takes a ton of time and you can still see the residue square a little bit.

Wow, how did you do it?

I've battled for about an hour to get 1/10th of the thing removed and then I couldn't get rid of the residue. I was planning on getting as much as possible removed and then sticking a new sticker on but gave up on that idea and ordered a new one.

personally I'd use a hair dryer to heat up the glue. That way you most of the glue is still on the sticker itself when you remove it.

somebody should make a flat black vinyl sticker with the 86 logo in red that is the exact size of the warning or just a bit bigger.

i'd buy it
