Can't say "no" aids cause it still has active steering permanently built into the game still...:iono: And what's with the new "ricer" mods that added to the game. Painting headlights and coffee can mufflers...tisk tisk.. Quote:
PS...Of course 20yrs is an exaggeration, but you get the point. :) Did Xbox ever include the ability to play Blue Ray disc? |

Hackers gonna hack :iono: In other news, meet the squirrel. A 700hp celica powered Toyota Aygo that handles better than a 911 and outraces 599gto's. http://forzamotorsport.net/Handlers/...3202&full=true |
I do like Toyota Aygo... but I don't think it need 700hp. If they made 200hp and loose few weight w 6sp option, it would of been good car.
where's the track you took a pic of? |
I sent in my request for the club  Gamertag: xMiguelAE86x

Oh~ gotcha. It was nice jump & pic.
IDK why Toyota didn't upgrade Agyo's engine. They would of been good race against Fit if they did... but o'well |
Just got Forza 4 with the Speed Wheel controller....... fuckin' awesome! I used to buy those stupid steering wheel, pedal, shifter controllers but they all suck. This is a bit of both, controller + wheel and its all wireless. Very cool so far.

Any FT's in Forza? I assume not since no photo's have been posted? :P

Someone was talking about the Prius and the instant torque in another thread and reminded me to ask, why is the Tesla Roadster so crap to drift in Forza4 ? Is it just the gearing (CVT) or has it been electronically limited somehow ?
|
It's because the Tesla doesn't even have a gearbox. It's not a CVT.
If it was a CVT, the revs would increase up to peak power, and then stay there until it reached the limit of gearing of the CVT, at which point the revs would increase past peak power - if the car has enough power to keep overcoming the air resistance. This doesn't happen. The Tesla just has a single reduction gearset to reduce the rpms from the engine. The torque output of an electric motor is roughly constant up to a certain point, so they don't actually need gearboxes (a reduction gear is used to get more torque with less rpm, not to keep the engine in it's peak power range, which is the point of a traditional gearbox). That's the reason for the Tesla being crap to drift - the gearing is too long... Which is necessary to achieve a higher top speed, but means there isn't as much torque for breaking traction. If the gearing was a lot shorter, then you'd be able to drift fine (actually, you can do this by getting the Race transmission upgrade and changing the final gear ratio toward acceleration), but you'd have a very limited top speed. |
