Just finish playing the demo. Impressions, not so great. But not bad. Cars have some weight to them now which feels better.

I played it a bit last night, thought it was amazing. Much bigger improvement from Forza 3 in terms of car feeling and graphics than I was expecting. The simulation steering makes a huge difference. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the "driving in traffic" mode. It feels a bit too much like need for speed. I'm hoping the full game has something like an ALMS mode though where you race with different classes of cars on the track at once.

i've got forza 4 on special edition pre-order, didn't know that a demo was out, i'll probably play it tonight

i have not played the demo but can anyone compare it to gt5 for me?

I played it yesterday for a short bit with just ABS on and did alright. I have to admit that the cars seem more weighted and the drivetrain differences are more noticeable. Definitely an improvement over the already amazing Forza 3.

I pre-ordered the LCE and can't wait to use the GT4.

Anyways, I ran through the demo briefly yesterday. So far, I like it better than Forza 3. Though, my TV is still an ancient CRT unit, so I can't actually read the tiny text they like to use to make out any of the times.

Ok I have to vent about this. Whoever had the idea for this traffic mode should have their balls chopped off. It is the most frustrating thing I have ever experienced. There's nothing like a perfectly good lap ruined because you get boxed out by some Kias, or having the "rival" car you're following magically turn invisible and go straight through an R8 going 40mph which you have no choice but to ram into.

has anyone got a kinect? how does the head turning thing go?

Unfortunately there's no Kinect support in the demo. I know, I really wanted to try it. :(

I'm loving it. Best in the consoles sims imo by far. I love the rivals mode, and I actually kinda like the traffic too even though it irritates the shit out of me at times.

I'd be surprised if they didn't have an ALMS type race with multiple classes on the track at once. Forza 3 did it too.

So I got the game yesterday and it is fantastic. I'm in love despite the learning curve with this new physics/tire modeling engine on simulation handling.

I highly recommend you pick this up if you own a 360.

I got it too and I love it!! I hate the slow cars you have to start of with but that's just like the last one .
