Intake question
 
gettin my Takeda Intake pretty soon.. Question is snorkel be removed? Sound tube be removed? any cons? leave it on? Thanks. Read some posts but they really did not answer the question about it.

Snorkel needs to be removed per directions. You can choose to keep or remove the sound tube. There are gains if you don't have a tune. If you have a tune, the gains are minimal.

The gains came for removing the Snorkel?

The gains come from leaning out the AF mixture. When you get a tune, it negates most of those gains.

Until you get to higher power levels. The Takeda intake flows considerably better than stock. It gave me a solid 4-5 whp when I got up to 200whp.

That's why I have a Takeda already. Even looking at your dyno charts, even though the gains are minimal, they are across the rpm range.
