Tire question about TPMS
 

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a new set of Aftermarket rims. I'm looking to also buy some snow tires/all season tires as well because my brz came with the Prius tires. If I were to buy the aftermarket rims, use them with the stock tires and use the stock rims with the winter tires. How would I go about doing that? I'm a little confused, esp with tire press sensors in play here. Will the best option be to buy sensors for all the tires here?

I've had a set of 5 Axis wheels without TPMS for a couple of weeks now and the TPMS light had never come on until today. Today also happened to be the first day I drove over 30 miles in a single day. The TPMS light came on and stayed on until I returned to my garage where my original tires and sensors are. With the car still running the light went out after about 2 minutes. I took the car back out and drove around for about 15 minutes and no TPMS light. Hope this helps a little.
