Doesn't the governor kick in? I thought I had seen someone on track with the governor kicking in at 138ish mph.

Maybe he has a tune? Lifts the governor?

I guess but at the start of the video it said stock. :iono:

It has been stated some very long time ago that the car does not have an electronic governor at 138 or 140mph or whatever. It was seen on a dyno a long time ago hitting 170mph. It reaches I guess the point where it doesn't have the power to overcome drag at around 138-140mph. This video could have a slight down hill thus allowing the car to break that barrier.

But again, as stated a while back, it is not governed at 140mph.

Also if you noticed his rpms were around 6500-6800rpms when he was at 152mph. Car's redline is 7500, thus confirming that hitting redline would be again around 170mph.
