FR-S stock Pioneer head unit and Driod Razr problem

Stock pioneer stereo - (sucked until I added a sub)
Droiz Razr with ICS

Bluetooth connection is fine and no problems connecting or recognizing phone.

Pandora and Music playback problem.

Pandora problem: Screen flashes "PAUSED" and won't allow to adjust volume or to pause songs. Still have the ability to skip songs by pressing ">". Can only adjust volume for one second before pandora connects and starts flashing "PAUSED". Phone controls work fine, but who wants to use the phone controls.

Music playback problem (mp3, etc): Music plays, connects fine, and can adjust volume. Won't allow skipping songs and doesn't list artist information. Phone controls work fine.

Anyone know a fix for these minor issues?
