I'm Diggin' the Greddy intake and Evo3 exhaust combo.

I now have the Greddy intake and the Evo3 exhaust installed and my FR-S performs much better than stock. The intake also makes the Evo3 come more alive in sound and note. I even still have the silencers in the exhaust. Soon I'll take them out and give it a try. With the Greddy intake, the Evo3 exhaust, and the lighter Enkei Fujin 17"x 7.5" wheels, the FR-S now feels like a real sports car! :happyanim:

The Evo3 is so loud though that you can't really hear the intake... if you want the performance gains Evo3 + a filter would do fine, and if you just want the sound the Evo3 is fine.
but I agree the combination is pretty badass.

Hey guys, I installed the Greddy CAI about a month ago and now I'm looking for an exhaust. I really want to go with the Evo3 aswell but I have a few questions... is it compatible with other midpipes? How is it after you've spent some time with it? :) Thanks

Just by looking at the design, I would say no it isn't compatible. I'm not sure I just put it on, but so far it's great.

Do you have a tune? I heard some people losing horsepower when going with a CAI without a tune, not sure if it was GReddy or another company (might have been Airaid or Perrin). I was so close to buying one but I don't want be out $300 when I remove it when I eventually go turbo/SC

Just heard one of these today and it sounded good...but loud without the silencers.

The intakes may lose HP without a tune. We did a prototype intake as well as some of the off the shelf ones, and despite the same tube diameter all threw off the tune significantly. Perrrin came in the closest.

What was the point of bringing a 9 month old thread back to life when everything could have been searched.....
