Garrett GTX2863R turbo, TiAL v-band wastegate

Hey guys,

I was gathering parts to turbocharge my AW11 MR2 but I decided just to keep it N/A and use the money to get a BRZ sooner. These parts would work well for someone who is turbocharging their FR-S or BRZ, too!

NEW IN BOX Garrett GTX2863R - think GT2860RS "disco potato" but dual ball-bearing and billet compressor wheel, supports up to 425hp. New in box, exhaust housing sold separately (uses GT28 housing - TiAL makes a nice v-band stainless steel housing for this!): $1,175 plus shipping

TiAL Sport 38mm v-band external wastegate, silver - new, no box. Includes 14psi (I think?) spring and hardware, and instructions: $240 plus shipping

PM or e-mail me at MazterDizazter@yahoo.com. Thanks for looking!

Most likely. What do they use, a Mitsu turbo? I know one of the kits being offered (wanna say it was Full Blown) used a GT28 variant, and they said the GTX was compatible but would just need it's own tune to take full advantage of it. I was actually thinking of keeping the turbo and wastegate just for that reason, but I really want to go S/C personally.

Let me know; I'm motivated to sell.

Bump! Need moniez for BRZ downpayment, pleeeaaase! :)

BTW I have 100% positive feedback on MR2OC (Turbowned), RX7club (MazterDizazter) and eBay (MazterDizazter).

The wastegate won't sell at $10 less than street price, especially considering the rate at which these are knocked off by the chinese. Also you fail to mention if this is a watercooled MV-S or the earlier generation...not to mention if it was actually NEW product (remember $10 difference) it would come with a complete spring set (as do all new TiAl wastegates.)

Not trying to be a D1CK just letting you know.

Fair enuff, $240 or best offer! Wastegates can be water cooled? Where did I miss this?

From Tial's product description of the MV-S:

Quote:

Integrated -4 AN water cooling ports that cycle a small amount of coolant through the actuator top to keep the temperatures down in extreme conditions such as road racing. These are leak tested after installation from the factory and can be removed if not utilized.

MIND BLOWN. Well, not really. But that is pretty cool. No, this one is not water-cooled.

Turbowned 11-09-2013 10:35 PM

Bump, still for sale! Need these gone; make me an offer!

Turbowned 11-27-2013 03:07 PM
