Just ordered my winter tires

Got some cheap ass pos rims and blizz-x tires.

Went down to a 16" for more clearance in the wheel wells and all.

Can't avoid the snow in North Dakota :mad0260:

What was the brand/model and exact size of the tire you put on those 16's? Did you increase the sidewall height to preserve the total diameter, or go with smaller overall diameter? Won't that mess up the speedometer and odometer?

I'm doing the exact same thing. I'm trying to hold off as long as possible putting them on though. I'll be happy if I can make it to thanksgiving.

I got some 195/55/R-16 Blizzack that are newly left over from my CR-Z I had. What size did you use, and what rims did you use. I am hoping these tires I have will work.

I need to order my tires and a set of steelies. I have to stop being lazy. :bonk:

I just had the Blizzacks on steel 16" rims dropped off from the Tire Rack. Great place to work with.

My issue with alloys has always been that they corrode along the bead and give me slow leaks, and they tend to collect snow in the spokes and make for unbalanced wheels.

Did you get the TPMS put on? I was just looking at those exact tires on Tirerack. Post pics of them on the car when you put them on. Curious to see how they look.

Out of curiosity, how much did everything cost? Could you send me a link?

No tire pressure monitors.

I had, and to be honest will continue to have concerns that the tirep ressure monitors will not muck with the traction control and put me in some kind of limp-home mode thinking the car is on a flat tire.

Have not put the things on the car, so will not swear they fit, but I expect they will.

About $1200 delivered to Canada.
