Red FR-S Waxed by Hamza7
Client was seeking the shine I produced on his friends FR-S, bought at the same time. Sadly he didn't see value in the services back then and the dealership murder wash got to him first.
4000 KM later.... http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/acab3e46.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/49f8af56.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/e220b7eb.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/9305961a.jpg During Pre-Foam http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/84930f29.jpg I washed the tires, wheel wells, rims then proceed to paint..I noticed a lot of tire debris on the paint behind the tires and on the nose of the vehicle. I used supersol similar to tardis to release these debris from the vehicle, which were then Pressure washed off. Time for the Squeaky Clean, now I know this product is suppose to benefit the opti coat users but this client only wanted a basic wax so I used it anyway thinking it couldn't do any harm, plus if it works well with normal sealants and waxes then this product is a must buy for me. I started with a brand new B&S 4" Green pad and worked on a PCXP on speed 5. http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/850e6771.jpg First of all, I have to say I loved the consistency of the product. It was thick but slippery, I really don't know how to explain it better but it was really easy and fun to work with. I used it on the whole vehicle and then I wiped it off, wipe off was a breeze as well I know this is not as dramatic as a white pad but this is what I was able to pull off http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/433df9c6.jpg I then proceeded to wax the vehicle with a prototype Riccardo soft paste wax. I also had the hard version which I threw into the sample box for the rest of the members to enjoy. http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/7ecd9d0f.jpg I would normally apply a soft wax by bare hand method but I had cuts on my hand and didn't want to make the healing slower then it was already going so I used a foam applicator. This was the most difficult method I have used, I am normally good at applying product thin thanks to my opti coat training but was this wax grabby. I had to fight it on every panel, the only way it was easier was if I used a lot of product. Embarrassingly I think I used something like 1.2 oz for this vehicle but the silver lining is that is was very easy to buff off Here are the results. http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/bae9944e.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/81882924.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/202aca8b.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/ff1af822.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/8d1ccfb1.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/d8390524.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/30b96ea4.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/f1e331b2.jpg |

I've also heard of this product called Opti Coat(Guard), it supposedly protects all rubber from fading and you don't have do anything, just enjoy the shit out of your car. and if your talking about the seals in between the doors aka Weather stripping (I'm just making sure I'm answering the right questions) then go to DetailersDomain.com and order a product called 1Z Gummi Pledge <- Thats not spelt right but I'm sure you'll find it, PM DetailerDomain if you don't. |
Nice job Hamza!
