Miami dealer for TPMS reset
Looking for a dealer that wont be too much of a pain to help me reset my TPMS sensors. I dont mind if i have to pay a small fee. Thanks
|
Well i called the dealer and they're charging 300 dollars. They say they need to remove the tire from wheel and pull the code or serial from the sensor, then mount it back on and reset the ecu and blah blah blah... quite honestly i think its theft what they're doing. I'm planning on just going to a local tire shop and have them remove the oem sensors from my oem wheels and install them on my new wheels. I'm assuming and hoping that since the sensors on the oem wheels are already paired, they should work fine.

sounds like any typical miami dealership. something this simple should be around $60
im from there, i was gonna drive down to buy an FR-S there this month and saw how dealers had them marked up. bought it up here instead. |
It actually turned out more afforadable to swap out the oem tps from the oem wheels to the new ones. Miami is not the place to buy cars, i dont know why they all want to pay their years mortgage with a customer.
