Talladega Grand Prix Weekday HPDE...

Just curious if anyone around here would like to come out on a weekday and get incredible amounts of track time for the money? 6-10 cars at TGPR would be somewhere between $200 and $150 per car for the day. I have done too many of these weekday events to keep track of and they have all been serious amounts of fun.

If anyone wants me to put an event together leave your name in here and follow the post. If we get 6-10 that want in, I will put a few days to choose from together as well a definite cost breakdown.

Here is some info on the track. http://www.tgprace.com/about_track.htm

Will HDPE-1 be available? I am certainly interested, but it will be my first experience on a track if it happens.

This would be a completely open track day. We would be able to run 3 maybe 4 cars on track per 20ish minute session. The day runs from 8a.m. to 5p.m. with a one hour break for lunch. Tons of track time! There is NO ambulance provided at the cost I have per car in my initial post. Basically this means, have fun but don't drive over your head.

Having said all that, I would be more than happy to help you get up to speed and comfortable on track Akuhei. I have been on track a TGPR quite a bit over the last four or five years and I make my living as a driving coach instructing for Manufacturers as well as Private coaching.

That sounds good enough for me. I am definitely interested.

I live pretty far away but I would consider going there for something well organized!

Depending on date/cost/details, I'd be interested! Pretty short drive for me.

I would be interested in running the BRZ there. I ran my SpecE30 there last year. It is a great little track, but it is very tough on brakes as they never really get a chance to cool. I would recommend swapping in some track pads and fluid prior to attending. Here is a video showing the track:
