Good price?

So i found someone willing to sell a used fr-s for 24,275. Is that a good price? Its in good condition with 5500 miles on it. Worth it?

marine321 10-06-2012 10:37 PM

Depends. Auto or manual? Color?

Jeong 10-07-2012 06:10 AM

its blue and manual

frosty86 10-07-2012 06:21 AM

A brand new one with manual tranny (blue) is $25k (around 27k after rice tax and other bs). Not even one year and having 5500 miles (and asking for $24275) sounds like it's too much. Negotiate it down to $23700 if you can.
What else did he do to the car? Any modding?

shishand 10-07-2012 06:29 AM

Its obviously abused.. lol check the tires, see if their stock and what not

marine321 10-07-2012 12:11 PM

Better off getting one new

Brett 10-07-2012 12:32 PM

That's so close the price of a new one. No way.

Tanuki 10-07-2012 12:35 PM

Yeah if you really have to ask us that question you should probably do some more research on the car.

You could probably find one in the 22k range with those miles. Buy a new one.

You're probably the one selling it lol

Unless you can't find a new one in your area without a bunch of B.S. add-ons, there's no reason to buy a used one for practically the same price as new. A new one is $24,955 with destination.

you guys are right! look for new!
still groggy from wakin' up late!.(lol)
as mentioned, the price is too close to new!
why buy used at that price point! it's "tall" money
wait for the right color and equipment, and buy new!
have no regrets!..just sayin'

marine321 10-07-2012 02:52 PM

I almost settled for an raven AT but then I was like no and drove 400 miles to get mine

Sigh-on-Rice 10-07-2012 05:24 PM

I'm another one think it will be better to get a new one.
1/2 reason is price and another reason is there is a good chance the car was abused.

DIM 10-07-2012 05:29 PM

That's basically the price of a new one. And it has a lot of miles only being a few months old. I'd buy a new one.
