want/need

didn't find any info on this, all I can tell is that it is part of the reverse camera setup

carbonBLUE 10-06-2012 06:57 PM

we have back up cameras? cool display, where did you get it?

CMOS 10-06-2012 07:08 PM

the camera is aftermarket going into the standard fujitsu input, its the TPMS interface that came out of nowhere spliced onto that video feed. its from australian forum so that is the Toyota GT86 or something.

I really want that too! I'm borderline obsessive about tire pressures and I hate not knowing what they're at sometimes when I'm driving. Even if it's not perfectly accurate, it would still give me an idea of where they're at. Please bring Scion!!

The Fujitsu Ten Head Unit has a separate AUX Video Input that we could use so that you don't tie up the reverse camera input (if you're using it for that).

Bristecom 10-06-2012 10:25 PM

I wonder if there's an app or attachment or something that can pick up the data from a TPMS...

Getagrip 10-07-2012 05:56 AM

Looks like it's an aftermarket system....

**edit: Hmm, not allowing me to link it

^same link in my post.
Banning linking other forums is retarded.

This is standalone system for those without TPMS already installed. We would need one that can grab pressure data from CAN bus.

Getagrip 10-09-2012 12:11 PM

Nice find anyway;)

if that's true I see an opportunity for someone with a devboard and some spare time, $50 for a canbus reader with a/v out sounds like a good deal, easily a market for 100 units before the years out, nice $2-3k profit for 2 weeks work, anyone interested?
