My bumper is fixed......but
This is the masking job they did for where the bumper meets the rear valence. Would you take it back? Its buggin me. Am I being too picky?

I haven't painted cars before - but I refinish/repaint furniture as a hobby and that's a pretty obvious flaw in masking if that part of the trade is even remotely similar.
The only thing is - I don't know what the contract or qualifications you signed for the work said and that is really what would determine what you can do. I'd take it in and nicely try to point it out and see what comes of it. Read your contract's fine print for whoever did the work very, very carefully before you take it back. |
I'd take it back. That looks lousy.
|
I'd absolutely take that back.
If they have a problem with it, ask them why you didn't get the half-assed masking job discount. |
That's Maaco or Earl Scheib caliber right there...
I would defo take that back. That diffuser should have been removed... |
unacceptable.

Pathetic...no one takes pride in their work product anymore
|
:barf:take it back

If its Maaco/Earl Schieb they'll just sand that down and repaint over the new paint which will leave yor bumper orange peeled.

Well, at least there's Plasti-Dip should that area get scratched pretty good. I've already got some light scratching from being on the dyno.. |
