you wouldn't happen to know the 50' Db on this would you?

mikeg7827 10-05-2012 02:48 PM

HOLY CRAP... do u see the size of the house across the street.. i assume the house u live in is huge as well.. its like the white house lol

Also.. do u notice that the exhaust fumes/smoke favors 1 side over the other?

Also, regarding fitment...

*Does any part of the exhaust touch the rear diffuser/bumper?
*How do the exhausts align on each side within the exhaust outlet cut-out holes...?

I would like to know too. It looks like it probably is fairly low. Lime rock doesnt want anything over 86 db at 50'. But, the invidia does come with silencer inserts.

Car looks good, thanks for the video...can't wait to put mine on,

I was thinking of moving to Texas after my friend who moved down there sent me prices of houses down there, granted the standard of living is different than NY, it's crazy what you can get for under 200k down there.

The exhaust comes very close, but there is a hairline gap between it and the rear diffuser.

The catback and mufflers can be adjusted slightly on the hangers and there is enough play in the connections to make small adjustments before tightening it up as well.

I took a look after tightening it up and realized that one muffler was higher than the other, so I just loosened it up and slid it over on the hanger to match.

Most of the installation time went to removing the stubborn hangers from the stock exhaust. It was a PITA! Time spent was about 2 hours, with 75% of that going to remove the stock exhaust. After the stock exhaust was removed, it only took me about 30 minutes to complete the install. My dad's lift is currently occupied by his '55 Bel-air, so I had to drive it up on ramps, jack up the rear, then put it on stands. I imagine that installation would have took about half as long if I had the lift.

as long as you're driving normally when you see a cop theres no reason to be pulled over for how loud your car is

JimmyMac 10-07-2012 01:12 AM

Is everyone in Cali that paranoid? Just curious, been decades since I've been there, but that's all I hear about now-a-days.

Thanks for the vid. Mine will be in on Monday. I'll have to post up some pics after my install.
