Mechwarrior Online is alive and well, in closed beta, and will be in open beta soon*.

In distant relation, here's a 2000GT cameo from an anime series which was a spinoff of another mech game called Zone of the Enders for the PS2.

The latest improvements have been pretty huge. Overall, me being a big AC20 fan, I think there's definitely more work to be done on balancing the ballistics side of the game, but the gameplay is pretty awesome.

Lots and lots of improvements to be made, but the overall framework is there for what could be an amazing game.

I really enjoyed the single player campaigns and skirmish :(

Ah well .. does anyone make a good joystick anymore?

I had no idea ZOE had an anime/spinoff series. And I have watched a lot of anime.

I'm gonna play that game just to find the FT86. Then i will make it my mission to protect that vehicle from other scumbag mechs. Especially from the ones that brag that their mech has a "VEE-TAK ENJAN".

I played the shit out of MechWarrior...My mom bought the NEW Sony Vaio PC back in 1996?? 3GB!! We payed almost $3000 for the Monitor, Tower, and Printer!!! You know it!! Ha!!! She still talks about how stupid it was to do that...since she used her "see ya later" cash when she was layed off...Anyhow, MW came with the PC, with Joystick...Hours upon hours upon hours upon hours!!!!
