wow you can really see where the 86 got the basic shape from, especially the front end!

It still reminds me of an E-Type

I think it shares some lines with the Corvette Stingray. But now that you mention it, I do see some E-type in there.

It's pretty cool they let him drive it, even just around the parking lot.

Well the person who designed the Stingray was Japanese... ;)

This was when Japan was in their copy cat era. Dome Zero=Countach! :bellyroll:

Great cars, got a ride in one (I politely refused to drive such a car on the other lane) in Japan. My good, late friend Yoshi purchased his in the 70's. Although it is my most favorite car for my fantasy stable, the cars roofline is woefully short for a big boy like myself, ;)
