Leather interior FR-S on ebay?
 

I ran across this yesterday and I was surprise. Dont know if this was modified or did this came from the factory. I stopped by my dealership a few weeks ago where I picked up my FRS to get an oil change, decided to snoop around the lot and saw an auto FRS with leather interior, looked very similar to yours so I'm think it's stock. but I forgot the pricing on it though. I would have been upset but it was an automatic so I was like fine haha.

I think the leather seats would suck in the winter and summer time though, especially with no heated seats.

Katzkins makes good, high quality seat covers and has a complete line up for the FR-S. I've always liked leather and I'm still undecided whether I'll make the change or not. So far my thoughts towards the fabric covers in the FR-S aren't negative.

That's not stock. It's not a factory option. That's a dealer installed option.

Whoever made/installed them didn't do a good job. A lot of bunching up in sections.

I got my fr-s with Katzkin leather as a dealer installed option. I love it, and ive heard it's good quality leather.

Does anyone know if these aftermarket leather interiors have been tested with the seat airbags?

Yes, the dealers add that option themselves as a way to make money since they cant mark up the car... Basically, you can take yours to get upholstered just like that but for way less. Thats what the dealer does, they just charge more**
