Getting mine either friday or saturday. Its been on hold since yesterday when it came in....the wait is unbearable lol! While i'm there, i'm gonna see if they have any beat sonic shark fin antennas to go ahead and install for me. Then I'll ride out in style ;)

Go to carmax and get a trade in quote. You can use that as leverage a bit.

steeloyangster 10-03-2012 07:28 PM

Don't go to carmax to get a quote. Check out NADA and KBB and use those as leverage. Don't do the Dealer buy price but do the Private Party sell price. Then you can expect to get somewhere in between what they're offering you and what you see on those sites. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY!!

They tried to strong arm me into something I didn't want (Whiteout AT) and I told them that I wanted something specific. Then they told me that it's a rare car and that I won't be able to get what I want. I then explained to them that it's the FIRST YEAR RUN of this vehicle and that I can wait for what I want. I also explained to them that this car isn't for EVERYONE and that only people like me will be buying it. There's not a lot of "me's" around if you know what I mean. Of course I would categorize all of you bastards in this forum as being someone like "me" but there certainly aren't many looking for a non-practical sports car in this price range.

i looked at the third party selling, the trade in value, and other trucks around my area that are being sold on the lots by dealerships. I have no problem waiting and paying off my truck more increasing the turn around i get from it, and maybe even by then they will have an option for a stock turbo :p

Stock turbo will never come to the USA

and why is that? Not a big enough market for it?

steeloyangster 10-03-2012 10:15 PM

Are you upside down on it?

remorse87 10-03-2012 11:11 PM

on my truck no, they want to give me 22k but NADA and everywhere else says 25k for average and there is nothing wrong with my truck besides driving down the road n normal tiny tiny scratches, and shit like that i owe 22,310 on my truck. my truck has 27,000 miles and its a 2009.

because America is cheap. Their is a article somewhere saying if toyota ever came out with a turbo gt/frs it will be for europe/asia, but not for america due to price of it.
