Yeah... If ap is revving to 9k and making 460 wheel on the stock rods, I think I'll leave them alone for now. When it comes time I might replace the pistons for a lower compression ratio, but I'll probably just run a meth kit instead.

I would assume they did this to avoid loading the eccentric part of the bearing shell?

major load of the part.

Well, it's hard to say how long the rods are going to last with 1.5atm boost and 9000rpm, aside from sheer force rods have to deal with fatigue as well. That said, 12.5 compression ratio and the levels of specific torque they're hitting are definitely giving the rods quite a beating which they are taking pretty well.

Pauter rods? Looks real nice.

Seems like that inner bolt would be tough to get to during installation if its horizontal like that.
