Be interesting to know the negatives of ditching the very good stock rods

Yeah... If ap is revving to 9k and making 460 wheel on the stock rods, I think I'll leave them alone for now. When it comes time I might replace the pistons for a lower compression ratio, but I'll probably just run a meth kit instead.

I would assume they did this to avoid loading the eccentric part of the bearing shell?
I was just discussing the effects of having the split line at a 45degree angle to the major load of the part. |

Seems like that inner bolt would be tough to get to during installation if its horizontal like that.
