I've driven 30+ miles and haven't gotten the tpms light go off yet.

Did you swap the sensors over? Looks like they are standard rubber valve stems installed on your rims. If thats the case, the TPMS light wont shut off until it can recognize the sensor, or it might have to be trained back into the ECU.

i have been thinking about it, since there is a bit of a gap to play with, but i'm going to track this a couple of more times, read up some reviews of good aftermarket mods, learn about physics, and the chassis, and then I'll throw it down a bit.

No tpms swapped as these will be my spare track set. I will be driving mostly on the stocks when i get a feel for these and track it some more. Surprisingly, I havent gotten the light go off yet and I've driven well over 30 miles...nearly half a tank of gas to be exact.

These are certainly the lightest XXR's I've seen. Very nice. My research also shows them to be about 18 lbs each.

Looks great. Congrats.

They seem to range from about $110-125 each. It appears that Discount Tires carry them in addition to a SoCal shop called Next Level Motoring

It wont go off then. It doesnt sense the signals from those sensor. Until those sensors are in range, that wont light turn off.

what i meant by "go off," was that the light has NOT shown up or appeared on the dash. so, im surprised that it has not yet turned ON.. lol

I bought them from 88ROTORS in El Monte for $450 +tax. unfortunately they dont install them but just hand them to you, but they have a bunch of other products that are available in their shop.

I've calculated over 100+ miles on these wheels and still haven't had the tpms light turn on my dash. is there anyone else who's had the same experience?

Just picked up a set of these XXR 527's in 17x8.25. These however are not the 10 hole type that will fit 5x100 and 5x114. These are only 5 hole and I love the look over the 10 hole. Just wondering if anyone else has seen these before or has them? And wanted to share in case anyone has been looking for something like this. Apparently there is only one supplier who carries them in the US.

mackdaddytran 01-16-2014 05:13 PM

You're kinda backwards. One lug pattern is what everybody wants - generally nobody likes the dual.

Dwood11 01-16-2014 06:06 PM

? I think I stated I love the 5 hole. Thats why I bought them. Allow myself to quote myself. "These are only 5 hole and I love the look over the 10 hole". I had to read it again to make sure I understood your post. Right?
