Clear Bra

After my first rock chip, a week into ownership, I knew this car needed to be protected. The paint and clear coat is incredibly thin (compared to my BMW), and even my friends with WRX's and STI's say Subaru paint is poop.

Anyway, I got Vincent at OmegaWerks in Pleasanton to do it, and man, I think he did an awesome job! I even watched him do some of it and it's like watching an artist work. Custom job all the way! Here are some pics of what I thought was interesting, cause the final result is well.. practically invisible. I got the entire front done. What do you think?

OH, here's a pic of the side mirror. It had to stay like this for a few days while the film settled, one of my friends was like, No way! You still haven't taken all the plastic wrap off your car yet?!

That looks friggin awesome, man.

Is the bumper done by one sheet of film?

I talked to Vincent about a full front also, but the price was a little steep for me. I opted to go with another shop in Belmont for a pretty decent job.

Where in NorCal are you? Maybe we can get together for a local meet one of these days.

Any prep work recommended prior to clear bra install? Thinking of a quick clay and spray wax before rain starts pouring.

You'll want to have any paint correction done prior to the clear bra application. I opticoated my car as well, but it is not necessary. You can put on a coat of wax if you want.

How much did it cost to do the full front?
