Had a chance to get a lot of work done this past weekend.

Started on Friday getting the KW V3's installed - I'll do a full post a bit later on. I have the fronts all the way down and still more to go in the rear (requires just a bit more dialing in).

Got the wheels on Friday night after the suspension,

Rotiform SNA (machined finish)
19x9 ET39
19x10 ET39

Nitto INVO 225/35/19 and 235/35/19

Saturday installed Rotora 6 piston calipers fronts and 4 piston rears (355mm rotors all around). More on the install later as well.

Had a chance to adjust the suspension a bit after driving it Friday night and dialed some compression out of it for more comfort. Still feels planted with the rebound set about half way.

A few things still need to be worked and I'll have to bring it to the alignment shop in the next couple of days to make sure everything is straight.

So you're saying that too much poke makes you puke?

I have the same problem.

needs more "stance"

Interesting... I would've done 18s. I feel that 19s are too big for this car. Look kind somewhat out of place.

9j/10j stagger is cool, but stepping down to 18s would allow you to run the same width tire but with 40 series sidewalls. I think that would make the stretch look so much better and not as extreme as it does with those 35 series.

I like the wheels though.

Looks awesome, i love those wheels but the stretch on the back is too much for me but thats why we mod our cars to be how we like them. I'd put those rear tires on the front and get some 255 or even 265 on the rear but that's just me. I wish they made those in 18's.

Looks great build your car how you want, 19's are great for the street and daily driving.

Not all of us want 17x7 +45 rpf1's so we can shave 2 seconds off of our local autocross runs, nothing wrong with just cruising and enjoying the looks of your own car.:party0030:

i like the rims and tires, but i too think they look way big... maybe look better in person..still nice.

empower-auto 10-01-2012 08:26 PM

the wheel / tire sizing is completely awful but the parts are premium.

bmxhotsauce 10-01-2012 08:30 PM

haters going to hate.... your car looks bad ass man. not many people can pull off that look and with those brakes that a lot of people would love to have oppose to stock. let people throw up over a tasteful car and bad ass DD.

Too much poke! But the wheels are nice. I probabaly would have done the 9's on the rear, and gone with an 8 in the front. But I guess that's not what you were going for with the look.

RAYSSPL 10-01-2012 09:35 PM

Looks good. Did you get the wheels custom spec'd @ Rotiform?

DriftyMcSlideSoMuch_86 10-01-2012 09:57 PM

I am balls deep in love with it but that poke makes my broke @$$ nervous. Ball So Hard or Cry So Softly? I am leaning towards Ball So Hard judging from the parts you used. Not exactly the cheapest way to build all show no go lol
