How much $$ have you put in to your FR-S/BRZ?
Need some of you guys to make be feel better as i added up how much i have put it to it on mods so far. Not counting maintence items or window tint which is a requirement lol.
I'm at roughly $3k with the majority in wheels, tires, and reflash. I did recoup about $600 for my factory wheels and tires so thats a little better so i guess i'm at $2400. Wheels and tires $1100 springs and camber bolts $200 Perrin pulley and antenna $100 Cosworth filter $50 Visconti flash $775 Motiv Test Pipe $250 HID kit $130 DRL bulbs $20 clear corners $100 assorted led bulbs and silverstar bulbs $50 JBL MSBassPro SQ powered subwoofer $200 H Audio Trinity 3" speakers for dash $120 |
|
Like $500.
LEDs/HID kit Injen Intake |
Sorry not trying to make a competition out of it i know some or your coilovers alone are almost as much as what i've spent. I know i'm on the lower end of lots of your builds i'm very happy with my car and build just curious as to what other people are spending you don't have to break it down like i did. It didn't seem that bad until i started adding it all up lol.

Over 9,000.. No seriously
http://i428.photobucket.com/albums/q...m/over9000.gif EDIT: Just calculated it. $10.2k so far spent on FUN. Still have to get the exhaust.. and BeatRUSH MCB |
Snow tires and steel rims. $1200.
One of these days I might even wash it. But not likely. |
$35K easily so far...
|
$100.00 on a shift knob, $350.00 ahead of time for Rock's hardbody guard, $120.00 ahead of time for tint, $300.00 for a head unit, and payed the paint guy $250.00 to paint my brakes...and my car hasn't even come in yet. I just have everything set in motion so I can get my work done as soon as possible. No flashing or engine mods until after the 1k break-in!

I think I'm at $92
Mudflaps, backup light overlay, license plate frame and tiny convex mirrors. Although I guess you can add another $300 for HPDE |
This is a question I never try to figure out and would never post. The wife doesn't seem to notice the money when it is a little here and there but when it is all added up......well.

Just over 6K... and I havent even recieved my FRS yet, just got a bedroom full of parts LOL
|
Nothing, well 4 zipties to mount my front plate after getting pulled over for it, so 3 bucks for a bag of zipties.....
I will be getting a trd air filter and maybe trd springs and just continue to enjoy it, my past experiences modding cars has taught me to only add quality parts, not just mod it for the sake of modding, Now the supra....thats the real money pit, lol |
Like 1200 which includes the HKS intake I just paid for.

I have en excel spreadsheet of ALL planned mods... where I plan to buy from... what the prices are, etc... $14k in mods... This does include the AVO turbo kit and 3 sets of wheels however (track, street, winter). If I cut that down to one set and no turbo kit... probably more like $7500

Bride Low Max Seats Takata Harnesses 6" bubble knob TF Turn Spin Knob Personal Neo Eagle Steering Wheel Luckily, I've had some awesome support from a few guys at Bulletproof Automotive thus far and have managed to save some money because of that. Don't know the exact, but I'm pretty sure I'm sitting right at 2k or so. Still need brackets, steering hub & quick-tilt system, along with wheels/tires, and Stance coilovers. Trying to get everything I need prior to getting the car so I can pick it up, swap it all out, then take it out to the next event. |
How in the hell do you guys have so much cash to throw around?! Lol
