What event is at Cresson Tex? I would be down for another cruise. Maybe I can apply what I managed to take away from the Drivers Edge program.

That's a bit far for me, but there are lots of great routes, depends on how far you want to go and how twisty you want it to be. A lot are listed here: http://www.motorcycleroads.us/regions/tx_north.html

I've personally been one FM813 and the 3 roads around lake worth but I only go at night so I wouldn't know what traffic or hazards are like at that time, not to mention I would advise against lake worth completely since it's not appropriate for multiple cars and the deer are pretty active at this time.

I've never been on any of the northern roads, however. Whichever you choose, drive safe and respect the road.
