Xenogear on BC Racing Coilovers

Here's me after getting my BC Racing Coilovers Installed

I'm really enjoying the difference in the riding quality.

My wheel setup is Hyperblack Rota Grids 18x8.5 +44 / 225/40/18 (Front) & 18x9.5 +38 /245/35/18 (Rear)

Thanks! A guy that I met at a car meet do them for me. He has his own shop called Monsta Inc (www.monsta-inc.com). Graduate from UTI and worked on multiple 240's and RWD cars so I had faith in the install. Came out perfect and i'm loving the lower center of gravity now.

FantomRider 10-01-2012 03:40 PM

Looks good! I'm planning to buy BC coil-overs to slam my FR-S. How low is it?

These are the BR type I bought them from Circuit Performance on here. The ride quality such as handling is amazing. The settings when I got them installed were put on soft so I've been feeling the bumps in the road but I've been stiffening the suspension little by little and it's much better for daily driving. I'm glad I got these instead of springs :)

I asked for a 2-2.5" drop. I'm not sure exactly how much was done but there's about a finger width of space and the fenders were rolled.

Yeah I think there's someone on here that's done 3". But you can go lower probably with 17's that are narrower.

Thanks! Yeah the fenders were rolled in order to get the clearance for the tires. I think 255s this low would most likely be rubbing because with the 245 in the back you can't really put your hand in between the fender and tire because it's that close.

momo77 11-29-2012 01:26 PM

could you post some close up pics

Circuit Motorsports 12-03-2012 09:41 PM

I'm not sure, I ordered them through @Circuit Motorsports though. They had them custom valved and set for an aggressive street setting.

I thought my friend that installed them said he had to roll them in order to get them to sit like it did. You can barely fit a finger under the fender between the wheel. I could be wrong through if they were already pre-rolled.
