I feel like these are one of those things that will look good in pictures but when you see it in person you would want to take a bat to them.

Im afraid to search any of the JP auctions and see how much I end up spending.

Actually i had TYC tails on my Xb 6 years ago - and they where pretty good (in quality). Had TYC from Japan on my BP5 Legacy - and they where pretty good also...

But till there are no GOOD pictures of these installed and from different angles - im in the same boat as you then :D

Looks like milk jug plastic with a light bulb behind it.

Glad to see aftermarket lights!! This is a good direction but too obnoxious. The star shape needs to be a simple circle shape to match the light outline with the "milky diffuser" smoked/cleared a bit..

I hate the chrome of the stock tails. I'd love to see some full pictures of a car with these installed.

I think those are hideous. Someone needs to make a set that looks just like stock, but with black instead of chrome. Someone already did theirs this way by cutting them apart, but it would be nice to have an option like this available with no cutting.

First picture looked interesting; but once I saw the last one with the lights on... It kind of turned me off... :barf:

Like some have already said...
-The star is out of place...should of kept it simple
-Looks cheap; something made out of recycled plastic...

HOWEVER, I give them props for trying to match the front of the BRZ with the red "angel eyes"

this is what i did with the ugly chrome stock tails

me think God was out taking a dump, when someone snuck that taillight design out into the open world. Otherwise, the creator would have been struck by lightning.

Anyway, im more looking forward to seeing the zombie Apocalypse than ever encountering an FRS/BRZ with those light in the wild.

Those TYC lights are funky. And not in a good way.

I'd lose the FRS badges.

Seeing them on that page while off really shows how ugly they are. If they looked like the light on the right in the first pic of the OP while off, I'd get them in a heartbeat.

those are the ugliest tail lights ever created. someone shoot them.

I'm sorry but these aren't nearly as bad as the taillights that people were throwing on civics and integras back in the day. They remind me of the BMW tails in a way honestly. The star shaped thing kinda throws them off but there are much worse taillights out there than this. I'll withold final judgement until I see them on a car.

Just saw this on Facebook and was going to post it. They looks pretty decent.

I hope Depo makes some tails for us. I know that Spyder Auto is working on a set, but they won't be out till SEMA.

I really do like the concept of these TYC's but I'm not sure on the execution. Hard to say unless I see something like that in person.

thats a good price! for my 91 MR2, some brand new kouki tail lights would cost you $600 USD. so i think this being the first set of aftermarket tail lights is a great deal.

I really wish they replaced the star with some other shape, or just a bulb. That's what is throwing me off.

I don't want to wait that long ;)
