Him don't think they're bad really. Though it is obvious they copied the outline of the headlights not so keen on that...

I really like the stock tailights and to me, it's not worth a few hundreds to "upgrade" to this. I've seen the altezza years come and go and changing headlights/tailights aren't really my thing. But I guess the younger crowd will love it regarless.

These would look pretty nice without the star thingyy

I'm not sure you know what "altezza" means... You are right that the altezza days came and went, a long time ago. Altezza is the Toyota JDM version of the USDM Lexus IS. It was also the car that made the chrome housing tail lights popular, hence "altezza style tail lights". They looked so good in the '90's and that is why you used to see chrome tail lights on every riced out honda from NJ to LA. Now that is the very reason I hate the stock tail lights. It is the only thing on the car I dislike. It looks cheap, like something you can get at autozone. I'm still waiting to see more pics of these before I pass judgement, I'm just happy that we are starting to see more mainstream companies getting on the ball and getting a tail light option on the market for us.

Here's a pic of them on a car from Japan. I can't tell if they're smoked also.

Xenocide117 10-16-2012 02:32 PM

I would like to see some that are actually flush with the ass of the car. The rest of the car is so smooth and sexy until the tails.
