Now we just have to get you out to try AutoX. I will be at Hershey saturday and sunday April 6-7. If you come out, I can instruct you.

I will definitely give it a try soon. I didn't know there was an event at Hershey that weekend and already made plans to go to the NY Auto Show with some friends.

The car is ready and is running strong with Mike's (Moto-East) E85 tune. I will take you up on your offer at the next event within a 2hr drive. It doesn't look like there's another event at Hershey until June, so let me know where there's one sooner.

Go to Autox4u.com for the schedule of events in the area. I am going back to Meadowlands this Saturday.

Mike said your car is really strong with the e85.

I weighed the car today with 1/4 tank of gas in race trim. 2,600 on the dime.

What sway bar diameters are you using?

Thanks. Great job on keeping the forum informed of your work!

Unless he changed, which is very possible :), he was using the Whiteline BSF45Z front bar which is a 20mm adjustable solid bar, stock rear.

I wish that I knew what was causing the Ice Mode?

We are working on the understeer, hopefully we have it working better at the Pro.

Awesome. I've been thinking of doing mine in one of the blaze colors.

iLuveKetchup 04-18-2013 01:22 PM

You tires look different. ;)

Scooby South 04-18-2013 02:39 PM

Be sure to say hi this weekend. I'm Dave, #172 RTR, Black FR-S.

I'll be redoing my wheels in plasti-dip as soon as I get back in town. Had them black, putting new tires on messed them up. This round is going to be blaze orange with a top coat of gold metalizer lol.

2Brnt2BRZ 04-19-2013 03:53 PM

Are you doing a header wrap or header blanket?
Again, thanks for all your help. James and I wish you good luck this weekend.

JDLAutoDesign 04-19-2013 04:21 PM

We dont recommend wrap. I dont see the header causing any heat issues whatsoever. We ran our EL on the shop car for 5000 miles no problem

Eric got the decals today. Ill send you tracking after I finish the product shots ect

xxscaxx 04-19-2013 04:41 PM

It would be sacrilege to cover that thing of beauty :D

Sorry I misunderstood :bonk:. When I get one, I wouldn't header wrap it either.
Eric- hope u could provide dyno figures and impressions later (after the Pro)

JDLAutoDesign 04-20-2013 12:12 AM

Simmons 04-21-2013 07:03 AM

What a weekend at the pro, the car isn't working the way it should. We made some changes between morning and afternoon, it helped but not enough. On my first left side run in the afternoon I came in with a time faster than anyone in the class. I went back to look at data and video to see what I did better, but nothing added up to the time. So I told the people in charge that I got a false time, and will get a extra run on the left.

We are going to make a big change to the car in the morning, hopefully it pays off.
