Why do you think that? I expected it would be very competitive in STX, Im fighting the uphill battle in RTR/C Street

Reliability and warranty concerns. The average enthusiast is not made of money and can't afford to replace a blown block or other parts that fail due to "racing" that won't be replaced under warranty due to "racing".

That and autocrossers are fickle. Always changing cars!

Not stepping away, it is just what I do. I have owned 112 cars so far, I actually kept this longer than most.

Judging from pro solo results the twins have been competative in STX. However, I have not experienced this locally; BMW's beat me regularly.

Perhaps some of the national drivers will share their thoughts.

Holy crap man. 112 cars... I thought I was too high at 8 cars in 10 years.

Autocrossing doesnt seem to be THAT hard on the driver train, just axles and tires.

One of my local Subaru dealers is pretty cool about autocrossing too so I hope I never have a problem with that. Car has been very reliable for me over ~30 events so far. But then again, STX is a different game with modifications.
