Computer for my Frs help

So, I was looking for a small, light portable computer that I could take with me on business trips, as well as use to reflash my vehicle (ecutek tune). I didn't own a laptop, but thanks to a large win while playing poker the other night I went shopping at bestbuy.

While I was there I had a small brainfart, and was pulled away from the cheap, light laptops to the tablet section, and bought the Acer A200 due to the fact it had a full sized usb. I figured it would fit the Ecutek dongle, as well as fill my needs by being small, and very portable.

The thing I didn't take into account (hell, I was just playing cards until 6 am, and was at bestbuy 4 hours later on 3 hours of sleep) was that it runs a different processor than pc's and therefore doesn't run windows apps nullifying one of my reasons for getting it... being able to run the ecutek software.

now the question; Is there an android emulator I can run on a tablet to allow me to run windows 7 programs?

I know this might, or might not be the right forum for this, but I also know this is the most viewed forum, and there are a lot of very intelligent people here who know more about this than I do, or that can steer me in the right direction. I would like to keep the tablet, but if this isn't plausible, I would like to return it while the return policy is still active.

Dell Inspiron from Dell outlet (Get the 13 or 14" models)

Along with coupon codes

an i3 with 4gb of ram (Or more) will just be fine. I wouldnt spend more than $500 if this is a fun portable laptop mainly for tuning

Tablet will not be good for you at all

should have gotten the Acer W500 instead, if you want small/portable and tablet and runs Win 7

I know that now unfortunately. I was just seeing if there was a way around it. Bestbuy has a small asus for about $270 that I could use, and pick up a bluetooth dongle for 20 bucks. The "coolness" of the tablet sucked me in while I was fatigued and I was hopeful that I could make it work.

I guess I left cheap out. That tab is about 250 more... although after taking over 2k off the poker table I can't complain too much.

Hmmm.. mistake #2, paying cash for electronics. Now when I return the tablet they will give me some crap store credit instead of cash back.

Off to go kill things in borderlands 2 to appease my anger.

they should be able to give you your cash back most likely. give it a shot.

But to answer your question no there is no easy way to get a windows OS (or even emulator) on a android tablet.

This will be my car's "new computer" (and the replacement for my laptop) soon.

Really looking forward to "Pro" version with the dual Intel i5. Microsoft Surface tablet. There are rumors that the base (or ARM version) will be $199 while the PRO version (which also has the full Windows 8 OS) will be in the neighborhood of $500.

I actually picked up a small Asus laptop yesterday to use for Ecutek. It's an Asus x401a from Best Buy. Got it for $299. Used some BB bucks and only paid $240 out the door. I have a gaming laptop already so this one didn't have to be too powerful. It's a 14" laptop with 2 usb ports and weighs 4.1lbs.

As for the Android question, there is no emulator I am aware of. Android does not use processors that are that powerful so it probably couldn't handle the emulator and the software anyways.

There was a 269 asus I was going to grab, and a $20 bluetooth dongle. That will get me all set.
