I didn't see this posted yet, but came across it on Autoblog.

While we would love to imagine a day with a turbocharged Subaru BRZ driven by all four wheels, we'll have to wait until later to learn the true details of this car. The XT moniker has also been used more recently to denote the turbocharged models of the Subaru Forester, so there's that, too.

For now, though, all we have to work on are pictures of the car, and from what we can tell, Subaru's definitely injecting more attitude into the much-loved rear-drive coupe. Visual changes include carbon fiber (or at least a carbon fiber look) on the roof panel, decklid spoiler and mirror caps, while the blacked-out 11-spoke wheels expose red-painted calipers at all four corners. XT Line Concept badges adorn the front fascia, fender vents and the C-pillars.

Inside this mysterious concept, the BRZ gets some bright red leather seats with embossed XT logos and some added carbon fiber trim on the gauge cluster brow and door panels.

Honestly, the XT Line Concept looks more appropriate for SEMA rather than today's Paris Motor Show reveal, but hopefully Subaru will release a press release with additional information later. Until then, enjoy the live images.

I can believe the turbo, AWD probably not. The red leather seats look good; they just jump out at you. Wheels resemble the TRD ones.

This is actually pretty lame, just adding a bunch of tacky items does not really make this car any better...kind of reminds me of the Toms gt86

I think it needs a little more on the front end, doesnt look busy enough:bonk:

Looks nice, but perhaps a little too flamboyant.

I like the brake calipers though...

dcamco 09-27-2012 11:44 PM

I'll take those seats for sure...

YES. MY NEW BOYFRIEND.

Soooo.... inyl-wrapped with stickers and red seats?

It has convinced me that a blacked out top might be in my future, but this is not worth labeling a 'concept.'

TBQH, I'd be upset if they added a turbo/awd version only a year after the initial release of the car.

Red Leather seats look amazing wondering where i can get this done in Australia and how much roughly?

n9athan 09-27-2012 11:56 PM

If thats vinyl instead of CF i'm really disappointed, but the leather seats look awesome and the rims are nice too. Are those brakes just standard BRZ brakes or are they upgraded? Also i'm 99% sure its not going to be AWD, from what I noticed the BRZ cant really do AWD without positioning the engine higher in the engine bay and moving it forward, turbo is possible though.

I like it, if i ever get black wheels i will get the carbon roof overlay and mirror caps.

Draco-REX 09-28-2012 12:27 AM

Uhh.. :iono::rolleyes:

Asterisked Accolade 09-28-2012 12:34 AM

Personally, i think it's exciting. I'm looking forward to learning more about it in the future.

is it just me or did they never say whether the roof was or was not CF. why is everyone assuming its not? isn't that a big thing that has been hinted at for a while now?
